Columbia Center for Heart Disease Prevention

What do we do?

The Columbia Center for Heart Disease Prevention is a specialized Preventive Cardiology service for patients who would like to:

  • Reduce their risk factors for heart disease
  • Prevent a first heart attack
  • Reduce chances of a recurrent heart attack
  • Prevent or delay the need for angioplasty, stent, or bypass surgery
  • Improve lifestyle and quality of life
We provide a comprehensive evaluation of your cardiac risk status and will advise you on your personal plan for risk reduction.

We will establish contact with your primary care physician/cardiologist to report your status and progress.

We can also assist in cardiovascular screening and/or referral for your family members.
