NewYork-Presbyterian Preventive Cardiology Programs:

PASSPORT to Heart Health

Family members of patients with cardiovascular disease may be at increased risk of cardiovascular disease themselves due to shared genes and lifestyle.  For the past 10 years, the Preventive Cardiology Program has offered the PASSPORT to Heart Health program, a free blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, and body mass index screening and personalized education session for family members of patients hospitalized at New York-Presbyterian Hospital with a diagnosis of heart attack, or coronary heart disease, or have undergone coronary artery bypass surgery, angioplasty or stent placement.  Family members of cardiac patients hospitalized at New York-Presbyterian Hospital can schedule a PASSPORT to Heart Health screening by contacting us at (212) 342-0520.
